At Foothills Compassionate Care, every act of generosity becomes something larger than a dollar amount—it becomes comfort, dignity, and support for neighbors navigating some of life’s most challenging moments. Thanks to our community, this past fiscal year was one of meaningful impact and steady growth, allowing us to extend compassionate care to more families than ever before.
In Fiscal Year 2024–2025, we were honored to serve 516 hospice patients, 111 palliative care patients, and 285 bereavement support participants.
Each of these numbers represents a story: a family finding guidance, a caregiver receiving respite, a loved one experiencing peace at the end of life.
This work is made possible by the incredible generosity of 1,265 donors, whose support totaled $689,214, with an average gift of $362.
These contributions help ensure that compassionate end-of-life care remains accessible to anyone who needs it—regardless of ability to pay. Our Caregiver Grant program, funded entirely by community generosity, provided critical assistance for needs that fall outside traditional medical coverage, such as home safety modifications, specialized equipment, and respite support.
We’re also proud of the quality and integrity of our care. This year brought renewed recognition, including Joint Commission accreditation, a 4-star Medicare Family Caregiver Survey Rating, a 4-star rating from We Honor Veterans, and a Gold Status GuideStar Seal of Transparency. Our Hospice of the Foothills quality score reached 86%, outpacing both state (77%) and national (81%) averages—a reflection of our team’s dedication to excellence at every level.
None of this impact would be possible without the community that surrounds and sustains us. Revenue from patient-related services, our Gift & Thrift stores, grants, bequests, donations, and events all come together to create a stable foundation for care.
