2025 Community Report
Our mission: with expertise, quality, and compassion, we empower and guide individuals and families to prepare for and navigate life’s challenging chapters.
From our beginnings as Hospice of the Foothills to our evolution into Foothills Compassionate Care, we have always walked alongside patients, families, and neighbors with a promise of dignity, comfort, and support. Each year, we are reminded that the strength of this work lies not only in the care we deliver, but also in the trust the community places in us. Families often tell us how meaningful it is to know that when the time comes, we will be here—familiar, trusted, and ready to provide comfort
This past year marked the first year under our umbrella name, Foothills Compassionate Care. This name reflects both our heritage and our future. While hospice remains the foundation of who we are, our work includes palliative care, bereavement services, education, caregiver support, and community involvement through our thrift stores. Together, these programs ensure that individuals and families are supported at every stage of their journey. The new name embraces all of these services, while still honoring our deep roots in hospice care.

2024 Community Report
As we celebrate our 45th year of service to the community, it is a time of both reflection and anticipation for the future. This past year has brought significant transitions within our agency. We bid a heartfelt farewell to our esteemed Executive Director, Viv Tipton, and our dedicated Medical Director, Dr. Rene’ Kronland, both of whom retired after years of remarkable leadership and service. Their contributions have been immeasurable, and they will be greatly missed.
It is with great honor that I, Heidi Wingo, step into the role of Executive Director, building on the strong foundation laid by my predecessors. We are also pleased to announce that our Associate Medical Director, Dr. Reed Dopf, has now taken the helm as our new Medical Director. We are confident that, under his guidance, our medical services will continue to thrive and expand.

2023 Community Report
This year has been an incredible year of change, collaboration, and heartfelt connections for Hospice of the Foothills. We welcomed new faces to our Leadership Team this year: Heidi James Delcour, head of our Finance Department, and Mai Lee, head of our Fund Development and Marketing
Department.
In 2024, Viv Tipton, Executive Director, retired after seven years of dedicated service to the organization. She is succeeded by Heidi Wingo, a seasoned member of the Hospice of the Foothills leadership team, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to her new role.
